Trekking 7 days Marrakech to Mhamid via Desert Dune Erg Chegaga

01 Day 1 : Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Kasbah Ait Benhaddou Kasbah

The tour starts in the morning towards the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260m above sea level, passing through the Berber villages, arriving at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Visit the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. Night and dinner at the hotel.

02 Day 2 : Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - Draa Valley - Zagora - M’Hamid

Our desert tour start in the morning to M’hamid, through the Draa Valley and its thousand and one kasbah millennium, along a palm grove of over 200 km. Lunch in Zagora and stop at Tamgroute to visit the Zaouïa, an old Koranic library, pottery craft workshops, and an underground Kasbah. The journey continues to the M’Hamid Sahara desert, the last palm grove of Draa and the beginning of the Moroccan Sahara to arrive at the Oasis Camp, at the door of the desert. Dinner and overnight in the desert camp

03 Day 3 : Mhamid - Ras Nekhal - Sidi naji

After eating breakfast and loading the camels from Mhamid, we headed to the clinic accompanied by camels and the guide a cooker after two hours on foot. After having lunch under the shade of palm trees and taking a small nap, we return again for two hours to the sand dunes of Sidi Naji, a sacred place in the desert and between the dunes and the desert breeze. We set up the camp while enjoying the sunset, and we start the first night underneath with soup and meat tajin.

04 Day 4 : Sidi Naji - Dune Erg Zahar

Leaving the holy place and headed to the third largest dune in the Mhamid desert Erg Zahar, it is within 4 hours walking distance that we will divide into 2 in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. The road is a mixture of the plateau and the sand that God Hiking needs. After walking 2 hours from the morning brezze we will stop for lunch under the shadow of the Tamarist player and after a nap we will be walking to Erg where we will see the camp while you ride to the dune to see the Algerian borders and make sandal, bread and tajine.

05 Day 5 : Erg Zahar - Dune Erg samar-Erg sedra

After spending a beautiful night in Erg Zahar and having a delicious breakfast, we will start our way to the old city in the desert, however, you can see the old building, and you can also enjoy the place where the first city for the nomadic was built, we will stop under the shadow of the guitarist and have lunch and after two hours. We will walk to erg sedra, where we will meet at night, sing songs from our traditions, and make sand bread.

06 Day 6 : Erg Sedra - Dune Erg Chegaga

This day you will see the largest dune in Morocco Erg Chegaga 300 meters high and like 15 km from the dunes where you can find it difficult to get out of it, the road to Erg Chegaga is beautiful with many green plants very patient for the water, and in the evening, we adjust the camp and enjoy the self-view from the top where You can see people very young.

07 Day 7 : Erg Chegaga - Taznakht - Marrakech

After your Breakfast in the camp , driving to Foum Zguid through a famous road in Lac Iriki , known by Paris - Dakar - Rally, made famous by the Paris-Dakar rally. in Tazenakht you will stop for lunch ,then heading to Marrakech via Atlas mountains for drop you of in your hotel.
