Program Details :
15 Days Private Morocco Desert via Imperial city tour from Casablanca01 Day 1 : Casablanca - Rabat.
Upon arrival, we will greet you at the airport and start Morocco Imperial City and Desert Tour, drive to Casablanca and then to Rabat. In Casablanca, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside of Mecca and experience the coastal "Cornish" seaside. Afterwards, we will leave for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we will spend the night in a riad located in the middle of the medina of Rabat.
02 Day 2 : Rabat - Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, we will visit the Hassan Tower in Rabat and then drive to Chefchaouen via the city of Knitra and the Rif Mountains, crossing via Wazzan and other Rif villages. We will be in Chefchaouen by the early afternoon. Chefchaouen will be your stop for two nights as you enjoy your time in this peaceful and beautiful little blue town.
03 Day 3 : Exploring Chefchaouen.
Walking Exploration day for the famous blue and white-washed city of Morocco wich is located in the Rif mountains. explore this picturesque small city's streets of the medina. Discover the local shops and cafes, the main square known as Plaza Uta el- Hammam, the kasbah museum belonging to the early 18th century, the Grand Mosque and perhaps the Ras Elma river that runs through the old city. You may also want to visit the ethnographic museum which contains musical instruments, antique weapons, and photographs of the old town.
04 Day 4 : Chefchaouen - Meknes - Fes.
Leaving the tranquil the bleu City in the morning, heading first to the ancient Roman ruins at Volubilus. Led by a local expert you will be treated to ruins that date back to the 7th century in a village where it is thought that over 20,000 people once lived. After visiting the ruins, we will make our way to Meknes, a city with a 17th century heritage. We will stop here for lunch and hang out at the historical huge walls of the medina, Bab el Mansour and enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail s shrine .
After the visit to Meknes we will drive directly to Fes city, where you will spend the night.
05 Day 5 : Exploring Fes.
After breakfast in your Riad , you’ll start exploring the cultural capital of Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by the Royal Palace, the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, and the Tanneries. After lunch, you’ll visit the ceramic factory and take in a panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the new city for a drink. Overnight accommodation is in your Riad.
06 Day 6 : Fes - Ifran - Midelt.
After breakfast you’ll leave Fes travelling towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and then to Midelt via Azrou. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well see Barbary apes. Night and Dinner in Midelt.
07 Day 7 : Midelt - Desert Sahara (night in the hotel).
After Breakfast our journey continues to Merzouga via the Tizi Ntalghamt pass 1900M and along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. Arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before checking in to your accommodation. Dinner and Overnight in Hotel.
08 Day 8 : Merzouga - Desert Sahara (night in the berber tent).
After visiting the village and oasis of Merzouga, You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle, then we continue to see the panoramic view behind the Erg Chebbi of sand dunes so as to take lot of pictures and to see how the colour of the dunes change by the light of the sun after to the village of Mirdani?an old village in ruins?also stopping at M?fis, the place where coal was extracted and the large majority of the population of Merzouga worked to earn a living. A very interesting day which is spent in or very near the dunes?the highest dunes in Morocco. After the village of Mirdani we continue to the Bedouin families in their tents . After having tea there we continue to finish the tour by visiting where you can see the fossiles and the oasis of tissardmine in the afternoon we will come back to Merzouga, where your camel will be awaiting you. before you mount your camel, guided by an experienced Camel man, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. and will have the opportunity to have Sand Boarding . Skiing on sand is not nearly as fun as it looks, there is a reason that there are no resorts set up in the desert. Dinner and Overnight in a luxury camp.
09 Day 9 : Merzouga - Erg-Chebbi.
The camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. After breakfast in the camp, you’ll peacefully have camel-trek back to your hotel, appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses.
relaxing and spiritual day in a nice hotel front of sand dunes of Erg Chebbi with refreshing pool ; after noon you will have choise between spending night in the hotel or in the campsite in the middle of sand dunes.
10 Day 10 : Erg-Chebbi - Desert Sahara - N'koub village of 45 Kasbah.
after breakfast in the desert we’ll leave for Rissani – once Sijilmassa – the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling family. With most of the woman veiled, and men hooded, this is a very traditional Moroccan town. We’ll continue driving towards N'koub, via Alnif and Tazarine as berber villages of the black desert, Dinner and Overnight in a KASBAH.
11 Day 11 : N'koub - Draa Valley - Zagora.
you will travel via route of caravans for Sahara traders coming from “Tombouktou”wich is Draa Valley, with it’s 6 successive palm groves stating (Mezguita palmary, Fezouata...) and Kasbahs stating the famous Tamnougalt Kasbah. You will continue through the lunar landscapes and the Pre-Sahara routes until you get to Zagora which is a small town, the native region of Saadian dynasty (Saadian tombs in Marrakech) who used to rule Morocco in the XVII century. we will spend the night Zagora.
12 Day 12 : Zagora - Taznakht - Taroudant.
We continue on road through draa vally then toTaznakht, we make a pause to visit the cooperative carpet. After lunch we take the road to Taroudant, Just like a little Marrakech with its red walls, the judgments will be made in different villages like Aoulouz and Taliouine the Safran town of Morocco. Lunch in Oulad Berhil, and after the visit to Taroudant city with its walls and others interesting sites, we join the hotel for dinner and accomodation.
13 Day 13 : Taroudant - Agadir.
you will visit old Medina Taroudant, a walled Berber market town, lies just South of the High Atlas mountains and to the North of the Anti Atlas Mountains in the heart of the beautiful Souss Valley. It is not visited as much as its larger counterparts, and is a great place to experience the real Morocco, with charming souks and wonderfully varied local geography.
After visit of Taroudant we will heading to Agadir Enjoy lunch at the Port or in one of Agadir’s beachside cafes with views of the sea wich is in the atlantique ocean, Dinner and overnight in Agadir.
14 Day 14 : Agadir - Banana Beach - Casablanca.
Visit the Valley of the Birds. The Valley of the Birds has pleasant, lush vegetation that draws in birds throughout the year. There is also a waterfall, zoo and aviary. visit the old Kasbah on a hill 7km to the northwest of the town, commands good views over the port. It was built in 1540 by the Saadian Sultan Mohammed ech-Cheikh, and restored and regarrisoned in 1752 by the Alawite Sultan Moulay Abdallah, who was responsible for the demise of Agadir as a trade depot. Abandoned to the inhabitants of Agadir, the garrison provided housing for nearly 300 people, and traces of these dwellings can still be made out.
After driving to Casablanca throught the banana beach, Dinner and Overnight in Casablanca.
