Full Day Trip to Ait ben Haddou Kasbah From Marrakech- Full Day : Marrakech Excursion to Ait ben Haddou Kasbah.
Your driver / guide will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech after breakfast, to start your day trip to Ouarzazate and the Kasbah, we will cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass road, the highest road from Morocco and all of North Africa. Shortly after the pass, you leave the main road to reach the village of Telouet; where we will stop to visit the old Glaoui kasbah which, for five centuries, controlled the passage of caravans bringing to Marrakech the products of sub-Saharan Africa.
After exploring the site, we will continue to cross the Onnila valley with its adobe villages installed at the foot of the mountains. On arrival, at Kasbah ait ben haddou, we will stop to enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, then start our visit to explore the UNESCO site, the fortified World Heritage village situated on a rocky edge. at the edge of the wadi which is a striking example of earthen architecture and traditional pre-Saharan habitat.
Iconic location for filming in the region: Game of Thrones, Babel, Gladiator and many others, the ksar is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Continue to find the Tizi-n-Tichka road (2260 m), one of the most breathtaking main roads in southern Morocco with its adobe villages clinging to the mountainside, its incredible reliefs in changing colors. Arrival in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
