Spend a full day in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, including a visit by the Berber family to discover the daily life of local Berbers in the villages, visit a cooperative of women producing argan oil one of the magic oils that only exist in Morocco.
The ourika valley is much more than a tourist destination as it is home to a number of plant species and the rare Barbary macaques. The excursion to the High Atlas is ideal for those who want to see the magnificent splendor of the High Atlas mountains without hiking to the summit. The hike begins in a Berber village called "setti fadma", you will walk with a local guide for an hour or more until you reach the waterfalls of the valley.
At this point there are 7 waterfalls, which provide a resplendent place to take photos. After returning, you can have a drink by the river, then have lunch in a local Berber family house.
