Everyone has heard at least one horror story about building a home or a lousy contractor. From the moment we met Lance in April 2005 we knew this was going to be just the opposite. We couldn't have found a better person to work with. We told Lance what we wanted, what our budget and needs were and from then on he seemed to read our minds. He made lots of great suggestions, kept us within our budget or told us what choices might take us over budget well ahead of time. He set up a timeline of when things were going to be done and was very good about keeping on schedule. Through it all he kept his sense of humor and still conducted business in a very professional manner. We were so pleased with the process and the end result that we hired Lance again in March of 2009 to finish another 700+ square feet in the basement. This time we gave Lance a budget and complete control of the project. After working with Lance the first time we knew he would make good choices for finishes and the project would blend seamlessly with the rest of the house. If we ever have reason to move and build again, Lance Johnson would be our first choice for a contractor. We ended up with a great house and a good friend.
